We strive to instill in our children the value of life-long learning.

Livinsgtone Primary

Livingstone Primary School provides an exciting and inclusive curriculum; meeting students’ academic, social and emotional needs, and levels of development.  The students are industrious, respectful and high achieving. The school’s aim is to plan and deliver challenging programs that make the school relevant and engaging in the 21st century, where rapidly advancing technology and global connection demands that curriculum planning and program delivery acknowledges and uses student knowledge and expertise with technology, now and in the future.

The new Victorian curriculum, which will be fully implemented in schools across Victoria in 2017, includes a focus on developing STEM knowledge and skills in students. As STEM is seen as a vital part of young people’s futures, regardless of their intended pathway, Livingstone is keen to offer this program next term as a means of further engaging students in hands-on STEM activities.

Together we nurture life-long learners through a holistic, faith- filled approach focused on the wellbeing of each student, empowering them to make a difference.  #HT LoveOneAnother” underpins all that we do at Holy Trinity.

The Young Engineers Lego project will be integrated into our curriculum as it will compliment our hands on, inquiry approach to student learning, while at the same time addressing the essential elements of the new Victorian Curriculum.

At Holy Trinity we strive to provide a rich, vibrant and stimulating learning environment to empower students to make a difference as global citizens. All staff ensure that learning is linked to real life situations that create opportunities  to develop problem solving skills essential for life long learning.

We believe the Young Engineers Lego program will compliment and enrich our authentic learning environment that we strive to create for all students at Holy Trinity.

Holy Trinity is the flagship school involved with the Outer Eastern Young Engineers to be the first primary school in Australia to offer this education program via the school curriculum integration.

The Knox School is one of Melbourne’s best independent, secular, values-based schools for girls and boys from Pre-Prep to Year 12. Our strong values underpin everything we do – Values of Achievement, Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Care and Empathy.

The Knox School is proud to announce the establishment of the Young Engineers Science Club in the junior School.

We have has partnered with the Outer Eastern Young Engineers to establish an after school Young Engineers Science Club in the school.

Young Engineers Program explores Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) basics through the use of specialised LEGO® based educational kits. Your child will be able to develop their knowledge through a proven – hands on, inquiry based approach whilst addressing many essential elements of the curriculum – not only science and technology.

The school began operating in 1940 as a result of community action. This sense of involvement has continued and should ensure a prosperous future. With the current enrolment approximately of 250 pupils, the school is known for its caring attitude to all community members.

The school encourages all children to reach their potential by providing a variety of curriculum programs to support the core areas of literacy and numeracy. By blending traditional methods of teaching with modern approaches every child is given the opportunity to realise the school’s theme of ‘Learn for Life’
